Example of a document template
To place document typicals in a document, a document (=template) is required. With the use of document templates the user is allowed to create predefined documents in the library. Document templates are, in combination with document types, needed for generating documents. Examples for document templates are:
A document template can contain one document typical. Additionally it can contain attributes and a value set. You can add a typical, attributes and a value set to the template by drag and drop from detail window 'Library'. If the typical of the document template contains variables, the connection between de typical variables and Typical Manager attributes will be established here. If you add a typical to the template, and the variables of the typical are available as attributes in Typical Manager, these attributes are automatically added to the document template. Per template the variable status is available in detail window 'Variable status'. The variable status is only needed if your template typical contains variables. Also a file viewer is available. You can export the list of document templates to Excel by clicking Export excel.
Auto divide
When a template has a typical and linked to the a document type. Then the typical will be automatically be used as base template for the entire document.
If this template typical contains the text <!startposition!>, then the first typical that is automatically divided, will be placed at that position.
