An electrical location format is used to define rules to automatically divide electrical typicals. With the location format a set of rules can be stored which determines the location of typicals in the electrical location tree. An example:

An example of a desired set of rules could be:

Main switch typicals: Level 1 = Panel name, Level 2 = Machine part, page number starting from 100

Main circuit diagrams: Level 1 = Panel name, Level 2 = Machine part, page numbers starting from 100

Control circuit diagrams: Level 1 = Panel name, Level 2 = Machine part, page numbers starting from 300

Based on the attribute value (Name) in the project a location (template) is found or created to place the typicals in.

The description will also be set based on the given attribute value.

If in the project no attribute is found, the default value will be used.
