Manufacturer

The screen 'Library > Value Set > Manufacturer' is used to create a list of manufacturers which you would like to use in your projects.

Create manufacturer

• Press New button. (Or use right mouse click > new)
  A new row is added to the list. Type the name for the new manufacturer.

• Confirm entry with enter or select other row in list to store new manufacturer.

The manufacturer name must be unique. Duplicate names are not allowed.

Delete manufacturer

• Select the manufacturer you want to delete from the list

• Click Delete button. (Or use right mouse click > delete)

• Click OK in the message dialog.

When an manufacturer is the active selection for one or more manufacturer groups in your project another message is shown:

This message lets you know that the selected manufacturer is the active selection in one or more projects (project specifcation > manufacturers). When you confirm the delete action then the project specification for these manufacturer groups will become empty! Values derived from the valuesets remain in the project.
