Add values to a selection list
Delete values from a selection list.
Typical Manager® can hold variable values as items in a selection list.
Two types of selection lists are available:
selection lists containing text variables;
selection lists containing numeric variables.
The screen contains two panels. The left panel shows the available selection lists. The right panel shows the available values for the selection list selected in the left panel.
In the left panel, Click
The dialog ‘Create selection list' appears.
Enter an unique name for the new selection list.
Choose to which type of variable its values will belong (text or numeric).
Optionally, in case of a numeric selection list, a unit label can be specified (e.g. Volt).

A new selection list has been added to the list.
Select a selection list.
Click

The selected selection list has been deleted.
More than one selection list can be deleted at once by selecting multiple selection lists.
A selection list in use cannot be deleted.
When several selection lists including used ones have been selected, the delete action will not be performed.
Select the selection list from the left panel to which the new value should be added.
Click
in the right panel.Enter the value. A value can be blank, but must be unique.
In case of a text value, add a translation for each language.
A new value has been added to the selection list.
Select the selection list from the left panel from which a value should be deleted.
Select the value to delete from the right panel.

The selected value has been deleted from the selection list.
More than one value can be deleted from the selection list at once by selecting multiple values.
When a selected value is used the user will be informed that the value is used in the library and/or projects. Deleting the selection list value will clear all the values of the attributes using this selection list value.
